Where data is stored
Data about travel businesses, our early-access list and chats on a business's AI travel agent is stored in the EU. AI answers come from the AI providers listed as sub-processors in each notice, with the transfer safeguards shown there.
Some services we use are outside the EU and the UK, mainly in the United States. When data goes to them, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK addendum for UK data, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified. Each notice lists the providers it uses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, and the UK GDPR if you are in the UK, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- limit how we use it
- stop using it for a purpose you object to, including direct marketing at any time
- give you a copy to take to another service
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That does not undo what we did before.
We reply within one month. If a request is complex, we may take up to two more months and will tell you why. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
For a chat on a business's AI travel agent, the business decides on your request. Ask the business first; the chat notice explains how.
