Editorial and AI-use policy
How the Travolia blog is written, checked and dated.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Who writes the blog
Posts are published under one byline: the Travolia editorial team.
We do not use invented author names or personas. A post carries a person's name only if that person wrote or checked it.
How we use AI
We draft posts with AI assistance.
A person at Travolia decides whether each new or revised post is published. AI does not publish anything on its own.
In new or revised posts, AI must not invent experiences, quotes, people, prices or statistics.
Sources and facts
In new or revised posts, entry rules, fees and safety advice come from official sources first, such as government, embassy and tourism board pages. Every number needs a source.
Rules and prices change. Check the official source before you book or travel.
Older posts
Posts published before October 2026 were drafted with AI assistance before these rules were written, and have not yet been checked against them. In October 2026 we moved every post to the team byline and set its dates from our version history.
Until an older post is revised, treat its prices, rules and opening times as a starting point, not a final answer.
Dates
“Published” is the date a post was first added to travolia.com, taken from our version history.
“Updated” changes only when we change the article text. Small fixes, such as tags, summaries or images, do not change it.
Links and paid content
Posts contain no affiliate links.
No one pays to be mentioned in our posts. If that ever changes, the post will say so clearly.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email hello@travolia.com. When we correct a post's text, its “Updated” date changes.
